Is it wrong to be optimistic post Brexit?

13/07/2016

Credit Suisse believe we should be preparing for the worst post Brexit and suggest we are heading into a mild recession. They  have set out 5 major risks to the UK economy.

It would be interesting to know what plans, if any, companies had in place for a Brexit vote. It appears most companies expected a remain vote, and may not have thought it necessary to have a Brexit plan.

According to Credit Suisse we are being too optimistic. Maybe us Brits just like to see the good in everything. If I read every article on the 'impact' of Brexit, then I would be confused as opinions vary. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer to remain positive.

It looks like time will only tell as to what the long term effects will be on the UK economy post Brexit, and my positivity may turn into negativity
