About

Josh Page is an associate specialising in commercial dispute resolution. He acts on a variety of matters for both corporate and individual clients.

He regularly advises on complex civil fraud claims, shareholder disputes and breach of contract claims, with a focus on the financial services sector.  His work often has an international nature including enforcing court judgments and arbitrational awards against parties based overseas.

Josh also advises on contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, acting for household names in the retail and restaurant sectors.

He has a keen interest in crypto-asset regulation and their treatment by the courts; often authoring online articles on recent developments.

Josh is a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association.

Recent work
  • Successfully defended an individual accused of breaching his fiduciary and statutory directors' duties. All claims against the client were dismissed in their entirety (including finding that he was not a de facto director) and the client was awarded his costs on the indemnity basis.
  • Acting for a claimant regarding a breach of a licensing agreement with a Formula One team.
  • Assisted with the successful defence of a Deutsche Bank trader prosecuted by the SFO on the manipulation of the Euribor.
  • Worked on the insolvency and restructuring of high street retailers, including the administration process of HMV.
