About Me

Jessica is a solicitor in the Family team. She studied Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol before converting to Law, completed her training contract at Howard Kennedy and qualified into the Family team in September 2016.

Jessica acts for high net worth individuals in relation to various family and matrimonial matters. Her work includes complex divorce and financial applications (invariably requiring detailed analysis of complex trust and corporate structures), negotiation of and applications relating to children arrangements, drafting and negotiating pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and various aspects of fertility law with a particular interest in applications for parental orders following surrogacy arrangements.

Recent work

-          Acting for a client with various international assets in relation to financial proceedings brought by his wife after a long period of separation.

-          Acting for a client in relation to divorce and financial proceedings where the other party sought to renege on a previously agreed financial settlement.

-          Acting for the commissioning parents in a reported surrogacy case with various complexities including the fact that the parents were not living in the same property.

-          Acting for a client in financial proceedings to which a number of family members were joined as a result of complex family trust assets forming part of the matrimonial pot.
