About Me

Nick carries out a broad range of private client work which includes UK estate planning for high net-worth individuals and the preparation of Wills. He also frequently advises on the creation and administration of UK trusts. Nick has particular expertise in the administration of estates including high net worth and complex estates and related post-death tax planning for the family. He is experienced in dealing with estates with assets situated in more than one jurisdiction, estates governed by Sharia law and the re-sealing of overseas grants of administration for use in the UK. Nick is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Recent work advising the executors of a multi-million pound estate which required a disclosure to HMRC under the Lichtenstein Disclosure Facility administering the estate of a property developer with an estate worth circa £44m. The deceased’s estate includes shares in a private company, a number of residential properties, overseas boat and moorings and a collection of classic cars. advising a UK resident non-domiciled couple on the preparation of tax efficient Wills to deal with their UK assets which included a substantial shareholding in a UK company application to the Court of Protection for the renewal of Deputyship Order for a patient with assets in excess of £10million Random fact Nick plays drums in his spare time and once got flown over to Switzerland for a gig! Nick is currently the resident drummer for the firm’s rock band.
